Band/Choir Trip 2018!

USC Band and Choir 
                                 San Antonio Tour: 2018  

Day 1      
By 2:00 pm           Depart from School to San Antonio, TX- (Don’t forget to pack everything you need for the night – toothbrush, medications, jammies…We will not have access to luggage underneath the bus while enroute.)
Travel day approx 18 hours (meal or rest stops will be made every 4 hours) $5 meal stipend
Day 2
                                    Breakfast and lunch stop enroute 2 x $5 meal stipend
2:00 pm                 Arrive San Antionio - Visit the The Alamo which, for over 300 years, has been a crossroads for Texas history.  This is also the place where a small band of Texans held out for thirteen days against General Antonio López de Santa Anna.
5:00 pm                 Dinner at Hard Rock Café (on the Canal)  Included
7:00 pm                 River Canal Cruise – the best way to see the city!
8:30 pm                                   Arrive at the hotel and check-in.

Day 3      
8:00 am                 Breakfast at hotel  Included
9:00 am                 The old-time trolley is an exciting way to see the city. San Antonio Trolley Tours take you on a historic journey through San Antonio. The tour guide provides a fully-narrated quality experience. Starting 3 miles south of downtown San Antonio is Mission Concepción. Another 2½ miles is Mission San José, the location of the park's Visitor Center. Three miles beyond Mission San José is Mission San Juan and Spanish colonial demonstration farm. The last and farthest south is Mission Espada.
12:00 noon          Market Square, or El Mercado, is one of San Antonio's most exciting shopping, dining and entertaining experiences. It is the largest Mexican Market in the nation, with over 100 shops selling an array of goods  $5 meal stipend 
3:00 pm                 Clinic at the Univeristy of San Antonio for the band and choir.
6:30 pm                 Pool time and pizza tonight!  Included

Day 4      
7:00 am                 Breakfast at hotel  Included
8:00 am                 Depart hotel
9:00 am                 Public performance in San Antonio at the River Theater based on availability
10:30 am              Spend the day at Fiesta Texas  $5 meal stipend 
                                    Possible performance at the park  based on acceptance and availability
9:00 pm                 Depart for hotel

Day 5      
7:00 am                                   Breakfast at hotel Included
8:00 am                                   Check out, load luggage and depart hotel for a day at the beach
10:00 am                                Arrive in Corpus Chrisit for the day at the beach  $5 meal stipend
5:00 pm                                   Depart for Enchanted Springs Ranch to experience the Old West...
6:00 pm                                   Chuck Wagon Dinner and Cowboy Show  Included
                                    Depart for home following dinner and show 

Day 6
                                    Travel day (meal/rest stops every 4 hours) 3 x $5 meal stipend
Approx. 9 pm      Arrive Home
Option:                                     Horseback ride for 2 hours add $45.00
