Welcome to the January newsletter! As we approach the start of Semester 2 next Tuesday, it's the perfect time for students to refocus and set new goals for success. The beginning of a new semester offers a fresh opportunity to build on the lessons learned so far and take on new challenges with renewed energy. We encourage all students to take this time to evaluate their progress, stay organized, and put forth their best effort in the upcoming months.

This week marks a crucial time for high school students in grades 9 through 12 as they prepare for finals, scheduled for Thursday and Friday. With the Final Exam Schedule in place, students will have the chance to demonstrate everything they've learned over the semester. Grades 7 and 8 will follow the same schedule on Thursday and Friday; but will not have final exams. Finals for grades 9 through 12 are an important milestone, not just for grades, but for reinforcing the hard work that has gone into each subject. We wish all of our students the best of luck and encourage them to approach these exams with confidence and determination.

The semester will conclude with a well-deserved break on Monday, January 20, as we observe a teacher workday. This day provides our educators with valuable time for planning and reflection as they continue to support our students’ academic journeys. A special thank you to our parents for their unwavering support, encouragement, and role as cheerleaders for their children. Your involvement and dedication make all the difference in helping our students succeed and thrive in the school community.

With Gratitude,

Jen Bye
