Curriculum Coordinator/Dean of Students TOSA


United South Central Schools is seeking a 1.0 FTE Curriculum Coordinator/Dean of Students (Teacher on Special Assignment) to join our student-centered staff at USC Public Schools for the 2025-2026 school year. 

The USC district serves 730 students in South Central Minnesota. Our K-12 building provides an intimate and student-focused approach to educating each of our students. The staff at USC works collaboratively to provide the best educational experience every day, and we are looking for an individual who can help create a cohesive overall educational experience for our students.

Qualifications:  

  • Valid Minnesota Teaching License
    Required for eligibility to serve in both instructional and student support capacities.

  • 3–5 Years of Successful Teaching Experience
    Demonstrated effectiveness in the classroom with a strong foundation in instructional practice.

  • Expertise in Curriculum, Assessment, and Data Systems
    Strong working knowledge of Minnesota State Standards, state testing (MCA, ACT), and platforms like Viewpoint and Renaissance for data-driven instruction.

  • Proven Leadership and Coaching Skills
    Experience with teacher evaluation models (e.g., Marzano), peer observation frameworks, and professional development facilitation.

  • Exceptional Communication and Organizational Abilities
    Ability to coordinate across teams, manage instructional resources, and support a positive school climate through collaboration and student-centered support.

Competitive Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range $50,324-$81,550 (as set by the USC EA Master Agreement)
